We feel we have a unique facility to offer. Located in exclusive Harbor Beach, Lago Mar is situated on ten acres of private ocean beach with Lake Mayan as the western boundary, creating a private island - an island that is just ten minutes from Ft. Lauderdale airport. Also, we are the only oceanfront resort where the water taxi will pick you up at our private dock and transport you to the destination of your choice on Ft. Lauderdale's beautiful intracoastal waterway. Our accommodations consist of 160 suites with mini-kitchens and wet bars and 52 hotel rooms, all in a low-rise, Mediterranean style complex amid lawns and palm trees. Our conference center, which opened in 1989, has meeting rooms that overlook either Lake Mayan or the Atlantic Ocean. This handsome multi-million dollar facility also houses 36 one-bedroom suites and a lush tropical terrace with fountains. We've recently completed a major renovation which features two additional floors of suites and hotel rooms to make our total room accommodations 212.

Directions - Lago Mar Resort

Starting From:Fort Lauderdale Intl Airport: Take US-1 (Federal Highway) north out of the airport to 17th Street and turn right (east). Continue eastward until you cross the 17th Street causeway bridge. Continue through the first light and turn right at the Church by the Sea - on Mayan Drive. At the stop sign, turn right on Ocean Drive. Continue over a small bridge and turn left on Grace. At the next stop sign, turn left and The Lago Mar Hotel is 1/2 block on your right.
Starting From:Miami International Airport: From the airport, you head north on I-95 to I-595 and go east to US 1, which is Federal Highway. Proceed north on US-1 and go to the third traffic light, which is S.E. 17th Street. Make a right turn on S.E. 17th Street and continue approx. one mile, go over the intracoastal bridge, and through one traffic light, staying to the right hand lane. Bear right on Mayan Drive, at the 2nd traffic light. (Church by the Sea on the corner) go one block to the end of the street and turn right onto S. Ocean Drive. Go to the first left, which is Grace Drive, and go one block to S. Ocean Lane. Turn left on S. Ocean Lane and proceed a short distance and The Lago Mar Hotel will be on the right hand side.
