Built in 1917, it is the oldest continuously operating hotel in DC and is well known for its prestigious location, European style elegance and the most spectacular view of the city from its roof top restaurant, the Sky Terrace.

Directions from 95-S MD-295S-Take 95S Take the I-895 Harbor Tunnel Thruway exit number 62 on the left towards Annapolis Bay Bridge. Merge onto Harbor Tunnel Parkway. Take the MD-295S Baltimore-Washington Parkway exit. Exit number 4 towards BWI Airport. Merge onto MD-295S. Take the exit towards Washington. Merge onto US-50 W. Stay straight onto New York Avenue NW. Turn left on 9th Street NW. Continue on9th Street. Turn right onto E Street NW turns into Pennsylvania Avenue.

Directions from I-70 1-270S-Take I-70 exit number 10 towards Baltimore I-270S Washington. Merge onto I-70E. Take the I-270S exit number 53 towards Washington. Merge onto I-270 Spur S. Take Capital Beltway. Take the VA-193 exit number 14-13 towards George Washington Memorial Parkway Georgetown Pike. Keep right at the fork in the ramp. Merge onto George Washington Memorial Parkway S. Take the I-66E US-50 exit towards Roosevelt Bridge Washington Rosslyn.
