New Hampshire Hotels

Many visitors flock to New Hampshire every year to relax by its beautiful streams, hike its White Mountains and enjoy the small town charm that is prevalent in this beautiful New England state. Each season brings new joys to New Hampshire, from soaking up the summer sun on upwards hikes to skiing down the slopes of its many ski resorts during the winter. In autumn, there is little that compares to the beautiful foliage that covers the state in a blanket of red and orange hues.

A popular resort location for families and young adults is Hampton Beach, located in Hampton, New Hampshire. This summer vacation spot offers much more than a place to relax in the sand. Across from the beach sit plenty of shops, arcades, restaurants and movie theaters. During the summer, a fireworks display is held every Wednesday evening and on holidays.

The White Mountains are the place to go for fabulous hiking, camping and biking opportunities. The most well-known mountain in this range is Mt. Washington, which is the highest mountain in the northeast. Visitors can hike, drive or take the Mt. Washington Cog Railway up the mountain for spectacular views of five surrounding states on a clear day. While the drive only takes about 30 minutes, the railway ride takes significantly longer, about three hours roundtrip. From the train, however, you'll have the opportunity to experience breathtaking views. When climbing Mt. Washington, be sure to bring extra clothing, as the average high on the top of the mountain is only 49 degrees in July.
